Heather L.V.T.
There have been many times that I have been asked how long that I have worked here. I have come to the conclusion that I really do see more animals than people while doing my job here.
I came to Klamath Falls in 2002 with my husband, Tim. I have a degree in forestry from Humboldt State University. I started my new career volunteering at Everett Veterinary Hospital in 2004. My enthusiasm showed and I became such a great go-to gal that they decided to hire me. After working in different positions I found my niche in surgery a couple of years ago. In 2010 I proudly passed the Veterinary Technician boards and added being a licensed technician to my certifications in Radiology and Nutritional Counseling.
Although my main job is still in surgery, I am lucky to also be able to talk and visit with our clients daily and create lasting relationships.
When not at the hospital, I am with my wonderful family including my husband Tim, two wonderful daughters, Tabby & Leah, our amazing son Tyler plus 2 dogs and a cat. In what little spare time I have, I am active in my church and have run in many events and races and still manage to find time to read and sew.
I am blessed to be where I am and love to see both new and familiar faces and be on the receiving end of many pet kisses. So when someone asks me again how long I have been at Everett Veterinary Hospital & Boarding House, I will say I have been here and loved it so much that I’ve stopped counting.
