Everett Veterinary Hospital
and Boarding House is fortunate to have the energy,
effervescence and efficiency that is Mary. After nearly a year
of dedicated volunteer work at our hospital, Mary was hired in
2000 as a full-time receptionist and is now our very capable
office manager. Her responsibilities include managing our
large client database and all aspects of the business office
with respect to patients and clients, including bookkeeping.
She balances our busy daily appointment schedules and surgery
calendars, assists with charting and sends monthly patient
reminders for health care updates.
Mary's favorite job at the hospital is "greeter", as
she knows most of our clients and patients by name, always
welcoming both with sincere enthusiasm. She finds time
throughout the day to escape her desk to get her "animal
fix", exchanging cuddles and kisses with many of our
patients.
Please stop by and get to know Mary. She'll be thrilled to
meet you and your special pet.
Sherrie, Hospital Manager
After becoming a Veterinary
Assistant in California, Sherrie made the move to Oregon just

Returning to us, after a brief hiatus, her role has changed.
Sherrie is now our Hospital Manager. Her responsibilities are
so many that her job description says, "do
everything". Her short list includes personnel management
and scheduling, inventory control and purchasing, DEA
compliance, equipment purchase and maintenance and nutritional
counseling. She has made herself invaluable, assisting the
doctor and the rest of the team in their daily tasks and
special projects. She also retains her radiology certification

Sherrie's veterinary knowledge, commitment to excellence and
her perfectionist nature make her a true asset to Everett
Veterinary Hospital and Boarding House.

Vivian returned to us. With the support of her friends and
family, she set out to achieve her goal of becoming a
veterinary technician. After years of hard work, she is now a
Licensed Veterinary Technician in Oregon.

Tawnia's childhood dream was to be a Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine. In 2006, with the graduating class from Oregon State
University, Tawnia will have accomplished her goal and she
will become Dr. Shaw, our new associate at Everett Veterinary
Hospital and Boarding House.
Working part-time while going to school, Tawnia started with
us as a kennel assistant in 1997. After graduation from Oregon
Institute of Technology, Tawnia continued to pursue her dream
and became a valuable asset in all departments of our hospital
including wildlife rehabilitation. When she left Klamath to
attend the Veterinary Program at Oregon State University, we
were fortunate that she returned over summer breaks to
continue working with us. Next year, Tawnia will return home
and bring new medical concepts, techniques and ultrasound
experience to our ever-growing list of outstanding veterinary
care services.
